It was about 9:30 p.m.
and I was wrapping things up,
when I decided to play something,
just for the fun of it.
My fingers stumbled around the board
until I found that E minor
(a favorite key of guitar players
and violin players)
was
the one that felt right for tonight.
And so, here you have it, 042513b.
Just as a brief aside,
this song was supposed
to start with choir,
then go electronic orchestra
and then the two combined.
In order to combine the two
I will need to press buttons
on the typewriter keyboard.
So, I set it all up to go
and everything looks good.
Here we are,
eight minutes into
what I expect to be a 14 minute song,
with the third part coming right up
and needing to combine
the orchestra and choir together.
I punch the buttons on the keyboard.
Nothing is happening.
Whaaaatt?
Not now ---
That is the abrupt ending that you are hearing.
It is me having an "aha" moment.
Not always a pretty sight.
Of course,
I share the one typewriter keyboard
with five different computers
(I had five keyboards at once,
once upon a time;
I do not recommend it),
and, you guessed it,
I don't seem to have
checked all that good
before starting,
because the typewriter keyboard
is plugged into another computer
than the one I am using
for this music.
Hmmmmm.
Back to the drawing board.
In the meantime,
hope you enjoy.
w/abundant and affectionate love,
