I will be leaving for northern California
in several hours.
Should be back Monday evening.
Wasn't sleeping very well,
so I got up at 2:30 a.m.
Wrote 042713a
at about 3 a.m.
I was working on mixing
the instrumental and choral parts
together a little more
than I have been.
I had no idea whether or what to play,
as I once again brushed my fingers
across the keyboard
looking for that sweet spot
that gets me going.
I finally found the key I like,
which turned out to be E minor.
But I had no idea whatsoever
what kind of melody or sound
I wanted to use.
It is always really weird to just dive in,
with the record button
having already been pressed,
not having any idea
what I intend to do.
Every time I do it,
I swear it will be the last time,
just knowing that I must,
sooner or later,
run out of ideas,
for the time being,
at least.
Hasn't yet happened,
but I am always sure,
with a high degree of certainty,
that this is,
in fact,
the time.
There is no explaining such things.
At least not yet.
I will wrap this up now,
and try to get a little more sleep,
if possible.
Hope you enjoy.
