Yesterday, I once again posited this question to myself.
I have not really thought the matter through, but it seems to me to be an area which could produce much which is worth knowing.
The question is this:
If my love to you is conditional, is it love at all?
We have looked at two fundamental views of love.
The one says that it is a feeling which should be acted on.
The other says that it is a life philosophy of giving unto others as continuously as possible, in what we call self-sacrifice.

There is a popular song called "Feelings".
There are songs which speak of "feeling --- and being in love".
Or "that loving feeling".
Or "the thrill is gone".
And who could ever forget "Gloria": G-L-O-R-I-A, Gloria.
Coming to KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK, on my door.
Or "you give me fever".
Etc. etc. etc. - the list could go on and on for months; maybe even years.

The foundation upon which all else sits is RESPECT.
MUTUAL RESPECT is what sustains any long term relationship between couples.
If you doubt for even one second what I am saying, then take away the repsect and let's see just how long this state of affairs is going to continue with contempt and well deserved mutual contempt and disrespect for one another.

When most people think of love they think of emotions and emotional responses.
They do not think about cleaning dirty diapers all day and all night long, or calming little children who are teething and thus screaming all day and all night long.
No, instead, they think of boy and girl somewhere that they will soon be having sex if at all possible.

It is 9:40 p.m., Wednesday night.
I am as sleepy right now as I was at 1:30 a.m. last night.
No explaining these things.
So, if I fall asleep in the middle of a sentence, don't worry.
It's only insomnia which has finally played out into a full blown comatose state.

Or, as my Hispanic brothers and sisters would say, "da nada", i.e. "it is nothing".
While I need to continue my little dissertation on "mastering", this is definitely not the time for that.

Have spent the past several days setting up near field reference monitor speaker system for mastering.
For those who are not familiar with the terminology, in music recording, the master was originally a wax disk from which the plastic discs would be made.
It was the original disk from which all others would ultimately derive.
So, it was "the master", in the sense of the original.
All others being copies of the original.
The terminology continued on as the technology changed.

I have been mainly in the field during the past ten days, and have been, accordingly, off the grid.
I have a few minutes here and there during which I can get near a signal and then send out what little I can in the short time that I have to do it.
Are going one day at a time, right now, so that do not know exact schedule for next week/s.

I am on the run.
But took a little bit of time to finish up the Fukushima album.
It was missing the first and last songs, which I had lost, in the hundreds of files in which they were found resting.
Finally, I have located them, and added them and then made a page just for this album.
